Belevi is located at a distance of 13 km from Selcuk and 61 km from Izmir.  This district, having an urban population of about three thousand, is mostly in the agriculture businessMoreover, the ancient ruins sited in Belevi that are still being worked on, have apparently become known in recent years and aroused the attention of foreign visitors. 

Belevi Mausoleum, on Tire highway at a distance of 11 kilometers from Ephesus, is the greatest monument found in Anatolia after Bodrum Halikarnassos Mausoleum, which is considered as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. 

The podium part of the figure has a height of 11.37 meters.  The monument has been built by means of closing down the block stones that have been carved on the surface of rocks. The square-shaped figure has dimensions of about 29.65 meters.  The statues that make up the monument are displayed in Selcuk-Ephesus and Izmir Archeology Museums. In order to reach Belevi, you have to take the Izmir-Selcuk Highway and then take the exit under the Tire road.
